TOUR OF THE ISLANDS ON MV AGUSTA TURISMO VELOCE 800
The illustrious Dakar rider Alessandro “Ciro” De Petri, in collaboration with MV Agusta, is
organizing an exclusive 7 day trip riding the new Turismo Veloce 800. Destination? The three largest Mediterranean
islands and, after 1850 km, arrival at the MV Agusta factory in Schiranna – Varese for a company visit which will mark the
The first stage includes an itinerary on the slopes of Etna, while the second will bring the group on the legendary “Targa
Florio”, an old and prestigious early twentieth century automobile race route, then finally the port of Palermo for
boarding. The next morning, arrival at Cagliari and after about 400 km of winding roads on the Riviera di Ponente, the
participants will arrive at Alghero. Once through the Barbagia mountains they will then reach the Emerald Coast. Next day
is Corsica’s turn, with boarding from Santa Teresa di Gallura towards Bonifacio, a tour through characteristic island
locations. Then, after having set sail from Bastia, the motorcyclists will arrive at Savona and will travel the remaining 270
Bound to the Varese manufacturer since the days of the great African races riding a Cagiva Elefant, Ciro and his De Petri
