A contender for the king of cool. The 700CL-X SPORT brings a café-racer aesthetic to outstanding performance and sophisticated styling. The CL-X design language featuring ‘X’ elements of the headlight, the rear tail light, mirrors, the exposed frame, engine cover and slim fuel tank shape demand attention from fellow riders and bystanders. The 700CL-X SPORT is pre-equipped with ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, slipper clutch, cruise control, Brembo brakes, KYB suspension, clip-on bars, ignition protection, rollover sensor and LED lighting. All in eye-catching color schemes. The 700CL-X SPORT has a sophisticated aesthetic and a spirit of intent for power and poise.

DESIGN
The 700CL-X SPORT’s 13-liter fuel tank comes with ingrained decals and the bike’s logo. The paint is bright, beautiful and durable. The front of the tank and rear of the bike is decorated with carbon fiber texture panels for a sportier look. The footpeg guard is consistent with this styling giving the bike an overall unified aspect. These design elements make the 700CL-X SPORT even more unique. Compact and muscular, the 700CL-X SPORT has the lines and the purpose to match its unforgettable character.

ERGONOMICS
The 700CL-X SPORT is a sharp alternative in the naked bike class and sits between ‘modern’ and ‘retro’. It has the classic features of a café racer in a contemporary style. The round LED headlight clings to the blacked-out front suspension. The circular rear mirrors are fixed to the end of the clip-on handlebars. The overall posture of the rider is dynamic and aggressive, full of momentum like a streetfighter. The bolstered fuel tank, coupled with the two-color paintwork, creates a strong visual impact. The close connection and centralization of the bike to the street are forged through a new Chromium-molybdenum steel frame, representing just 16.5kg of the bike’s 205kg curb weight.

HANDLING
Low weight and usable power define the 700CL-X SPORT as much as the determined styling. The bike uses KYB 41mm upside-down front forks and a KYB single rear shock to provide a smooth ride. Dial in your ideal setting for comfort with full adjustability on the front plus preload and rebound adjustability in the rear shock. Both can be tweaked by up to 20 clicks. The high-specification KYB suspension not only looks the part but also handles perfectly with 150mm of travel on both ends. In addition to the chromium-molybdenum alloy frame. The rear swingarm adopts a high-strength gravity-cast cavity aluminum structure with a mass of only 6.7kg and helps towards the 795mm seat height.

ENGINE
The 700CL-X SPORT has a liquid-cooled, 693cc, two-cylinder four-stroke DOHC inline engine. It has a bore of 83mm and a stroke of 64mm and delivers smooth acceleration at all rpm with impressive responsiveness. The motor produces a maximum of 55kW/75HP output @ 8500rpm and 68Nm torque @ 6500rpm. The optimized intake system improves airflow efficiency for quick-revving power and precise throttle return; making it easy to spurt forward and overtake. The engine has lightweight pistons and DLC coating to minimize friction. The X-shape engraved on the engine cover also highlights the aesthetics. The CF-SC slipper clutch helps enlarge the output and enhance the smoothness of shifting, thereby reducing the engine braking impact during downshifts, improving safety and riding comfort. The 700CL-X is fitted with two riding modes: SPORT and ECO. SPORT allows full engine power and throttle response. ECO mode is for softer throttle delivery and fuel efficiency.

BRAKES
An attractive brute like the 700CL-X SPORT also has to perform under braking and the power potential of the bike means that CFMOTO has engaged one of the best applications for this purpose. The 700CL-X SPORT comes with a Brembo braking system with ABS, which guarantees safety on all types of road surfaces. On the front end, a 300 mm diameter double-disc has been fitted to two Brembo Stylema four-piston radial calipers. The rear has a 260 mm disc clasped by a 34 mm single-piston caliper. The 17-inch star-shaped alloy wheels give the sensation of dynamism. MAXXIS MA-ST2 tires are designed to provide miles upon miles of comfortable riding with impressive grip when it is needed the most.

TFT DISPLAY
The 700CL-X SPORT employs the same stylistic and minimal LCD circular dash display as seen by other models in the CL-X line. Along with the typical range of information feeding from the behavior of the bike, the LCD is also the source to administer the Cruise Control. When the vehicle speed is greater than 40km/h, the rider can toggle this feature. With the help of the cruise control system, the 700CL-X SPORT automatically maintains its speed, thus reducing rider fatigue. The pace can be increased or decreased through the RES and SET buttons and at a maximum of 120km/h. The 700CL-X SPORT’s LED headlight is self-adaptive; automatically turning on or off according to the ambient brightness, ensuring a bright and clear vision in different road conditions (such as tunnels). The indicators automatically cancel when the lean angle of the bike returns to the center, allowing the rider to focus on the path ahead.
